Kathy Devous, APRN, ACNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience and over 10 years of advanced practice nursing experience. She brings extensive expertise in acute care, critical care, chronic disease management, wellness, preventive healthcare, aesthetics, and men’s sexual health to Ahuja Bariatric & Beyond.
Licensed in Illinois and Indiana, Kathy has spent much of her career caring for adult and geriatric patients in both hospital and outpatient settings. Her broad clinical background includes the management of complex medical conditions, weight-related health concerns, metabolic disorders, long-term wellness planning, and men’s sexual health concerns.
In addition to her medical practice, Kathy has advanced training in aesthetic medicine through the Laser Institute of Chicago, as well as specialized training in men’s sexual health and wellness through Revival in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her clinical interests include weight management, healthy aging, wellness optimization, men’s sexual health, hormone health, and non-surgical aesthetic treatments that help patients look and feel their best.
Having experienced a significant personal weight-loss journey through medical weight management, Kathy understands many of the challenges patients face when working toward lasting lifestyle changes. This firsthand perspective allows her to connect with patients on a deeper level while providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
